Katch wants only real people in the dating network. So by asking everyone to do a short Intro Video eliminates fake profiles, people uploading their very old photos ago or using picture filters, etc.

By asking people to perform video profiles means it becomes easier for the viewer to understand who they are engaging with within the dating network.
