Blind Date Terms & Conditions

Once you book you agree to our Blind Date terms and conditions

We agree to work with you on your availability and to find a suitable location for the date.  We then will endeavor to find you the  most suitable match based on your location, age, looks, vibe and personality.  Once located we then negotiate the date/time and location with your match until the date is agreed. 

  1. Communications – you are aware that by using our Blind Date service that we will be emailing you system notifications from time to time in order to get your blind date organized correctly.
  2. Availability – We expect you to provide us at least 5 days (dates/times) which you are available for your blind date.  Anything less than 5 will not give matches any choice and will restrict our ability to establish a Blind Date.
  3. Suggested Dates – within 2 weeks we will send you the best blind date for you, you can refuse the initial date for any personal reason but once we send you a second date our service is completed and no refunds given. Our system matches singles based on their personalities, age, location and looks.
  4. Personalised Matches – if you have personal requirements for your match (certain wealth, job, looks, etc) then you will need to order the Blind Date VIP by logging in or upgrading your Katch membership to the Katch Personal in order for us to meet your expectation.
  5. Location – We strongly suggest having your Blind Date inside your county. 
  6. Cancellation (with reason) – Once we arrange a blind date for you and you cancel the blind date with a genuine reason within 7 days of the date – the date could automatically rollover to a virtual blind date on the same date/time or pushed forward into the future to whenever suits. You can only cancel a date with a valid reason two times, after that our service is completed and no refunds given.
  7. Cancellation (without reason) – Once we arrange a blind date for you and you cancel the blind date without a genuine reason within 7 days of the date – it means our service is completed and no refunds given.
  8. Postponing – You are allowed to postpone your blind date one time after that our service is completed and no refunds given.
  9. Timekeeping – You are supposed to turn up to the blind date on time (or at least 10 mins before) at the location specified in our confirmation email.  There is no excuse for a missed connection as you can open the Katch App and communicate.  No refunds given to missed connections during a blind date.
  10. Katch App for communicating before your Blind Date – we strongly advise all blind daters to download Katch before your blind date. This will enable you to communicate with your date 30 mins before the date – perfect when you would like to know where they are inside the location or running late.   11. Your Date / match did not show up (you are a paid customer) – In the case of a no show (where your date does not show up).  Since this is out of our control, we cannot issue a refund but we will endeavor to arrange another date until our service is complete.
  12. You did not show up (you are a paid customer) – If you paid for the blind date, accepted the invitation and did not show up to your date (with no cancellation notice given), it means our service is completed and no refunds given.   13. You did not show up (match / unpaid member) – you agreed to meet a paid customer for a date and did not show or did not postpone / cancel. This means you will not receive another date unless you buy our Katch VIP service – https://katch.ie/dating-packages#billingservices.
  14. No Reply to Date Request – if we send you a blind date match and we see that you have received and opened/read the email but not answered, we will then send two more date request and if these are also received and opened/read and not answered – we will then close your blind date as completed and no refund given.
  15. Unhappy with your Date – Based on compatibility, we have matched you to the best of the dating industry logic. Since certain physiological and psychological characteristics are out of our control when matching, it means sometimes energy connection between you both does not exist. The only way to test if energy connection exists is to meet up and give each other a chance. Rule of matching is to give everyone at least 10 mins before making judgement as people can quite often amaze you if given a chance.
